my ipod has 50gb of music, but i dont accept it backedup anywere, my omputer bankrupt and if i got it aback from hp they austere my harddrive, so i had to re download itunes, if i bung my ipod into the comuter it will accompany and bright the ipod, so i assumption i charge it in chiral mode, but dont the ipod accept to be pluged in to put it in manual? bolt 22....

Answers :Here's what you do:

- Yes, bung it in. A box will pop up adage that there are things on your iPod that are not in your library, do you wish to transfer/sync/etc.? Bang CANCEL.

- Analysis the box that says "Manually administer music". It will yield a minute, but don't anguish - it's not syncing.

- Go to Start > My Computer. Again bang on Tools > Binder Options > the "View" tab. In Advanced Settings (under Files and Folders) bang "Show hidden files and folders". Again bang OK.
NOTE: If you accept Vista, you ability charge to go to Organize > Layout, and analysis Menu Bar first.

- Go aback to Start > My Computer. See your iPod? Bifold bang on it. Now, see the hardly apparent iPod_Control folder? Annoyance it assimilate your computer (like in My Music).

- Wait for it to download. If it's done, bifold bang on it. You'll see some added folders, bang on Music. You'll see MORE folders, called F00, F01, F02, etc. Bifold bang on the aboriginal one. You'll see a agglomeration of files, called GJGY, DKIT, etc. Highlight them all, again annoyance them into iTunes. Do this for all of those folders (will apparently yield a loooong time if you accept 50GB of music - I alone had 3GB and I had 49 folders to add).
